“Walking together through the journey of recovery”

Our Community Peer Outreach Program bridges the gap between clinical care and community connection by combining the strengths of peer support with counselling services. Facilitated by two peer outreach workers, the support groups offer a safe and inclusive space for emotional support, harm reduction education, and open dialogue rooted in lived or living experience.

Participants also have access to one-on-one counseling through a clinical counsellor attached to the program, allowing for individualized support alongside group connection. By integrating peer support with clinical care, the program aims to reduce stigma, foster a sense of belonging, and empower individuals on their recovery journey. Through genuine connection and mutual understanding, participants are supported in building resilience, making informed choices, and taking meaningful steps toward wellness.
